We are going to continue on with Poetry Month and work on another Shel Silverstein activity. If you picked up the work package from the school last week, included were pages that looked like the ones below. I will send the PDF if these documents this morning.
* "Come Sit Under the Poe Tree with Shel Silverstein." On some of the leaves you will find popular and well-known Shel Silverstein Poems. On the blank leaves, try to write your own poems. You an use Shel's poems as a template to write your own, or create a unique poem of your own. Once completed, you can cut out your leaves and staple together into a booklet, hang from a branch, or any other way you would like to display them.
* Last week you worked on your Covid 19 Booklets, please continue onto the next page of your booklets.
Science:
Mystery Science: "Why Do Plants Grow Flowers." Follow this link to take you to today's mystery science activity. There is a video to watch and then an activity to follow. If you are able to complete the activity, please give it a try! If you are missing some materials, you can either be creative and use what you have, or give it a try another day.
Included in the work package that was picked up from the school last week are 2 of the materials that you will need. I will send a PDF this morning of those sheets.

These tasks were also included in last weeks work package that was/is at the school, I will include these in the email/remind message this morning as well.
***As always, these activities are concepts that your child should know or be learning. If they are too difficult or you don't get to them today, please don't worry! Do what you are able to do.
If you can get onto RAZ Kids or Mathletics today, that is great too.
