Hopefully yesterday you listened to Robert Munsch read "Millicent and the Wind." If you didn't get a chance, listen here: https://robertmunsch.com/book/millicent-and-the-wind#
In sticking with the theme of "wind," here is a lesson on how to make a plastic bottle wind spiral.
You will need: 3-4 plastic bottles
scissors, x-acto knife
paints and paintbrush
wooden stick
string, wire, rope, shoelaces, whatever you have!
Find instructions here: https://www.muminthemadhouse.com/pl-bottle-wind-spiral-mobile/
If you are able to complete this, please send me a photo! Have fun!
Math:
Today practice skip counting by 2's, 5's and 10's as high as you can go. Use this interactive number line if it helps, to highlight your numbers and then count aloud to someone in your house.
Literacy:
Please spend at least 20 minutes today reading on RAZ Kids. Remember to listen to the story first, read aloud, and then, with the help of an adult, complete the quiz at the end of the story.
