Obstacle Course STEM Challenge

Today's challenge requires a pencil and paper, and materials you will gather from your home or yard.

1) In your notebook, design an obstacle course using only tree stumps, bean bags, tires, and wood scraps. You may use as many of these objects as you need, but only these objects.  Make sure that you create a legend for your objects. ** Your legend DOES NOT have to look like the one below, use your imagination!

2) After you have completed your obstacle course drawing, start gathering objects from around your home or yard that you could use to build your obstacle course. I suggest using a recycled box for your base to glue the objects on to.  Aparent or guardian can help you with this part.

3) Plan out your obstacle course and once you have it looking like you want, glue to objects down to the base.

4) If you can, please take a picture and email it to me (kelly.watson@sd78.bc.ca)

This is a picture of ones that my own kids created.
